ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Solana & Rust Developer to join our team on a part-time or per-project basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Solana’s blockchain architecture and Rust programming to create, implement, and optimize scalable blockchain solutions. You will collaborate closely with our developers and project managers, playing a key role in designing and developing innovative applications that drive the success of our projects on the Solana blockchain. This flexible, project-based position is ideal for a self-motivated developer with a passion for blockchain technology who enjoys working on challenging, cutting-edge projects
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design & Implement Solutions: Develop high-performance, secure applications and components on the Solana blockchain using Rust, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align on technical requirements and project goals, contributing to a seamless development process.
Optimize & Maintain Code: Write optimized, maintainable Rust code for blockchain interactions, continually improving performance, reliability, and security.
Blockchain integration: Build and refine components that integrate smoothly with Solana’s infrastructure, handling a variety of blockchain data and transaction requirements.
ABOUT YOU
Experienced in Rust & Solana: Proven expertise in Rust development and in-depth knowledge of the Solana blockchain architecture, including smart contract development and Solana-specific tooling.
Web3 and Blockchain Expertise: Hands-on experience working within the Web3 space, with specific expertise in the Solana blockchain, understanding its ecosystem, protocols, and best practices.
Independent & Self-Directed: Demonstrated ability to work independently, with high agency and minimal supervision, to drive project success and deliver results.
Strong Problem Solver: Analytical and detail-oriented, with a talent for diagnosing issues and developing effective, scalable solutions in complex blockchain applications.
Collaborative & Communicative: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Blockchain Enthusiast: Passionate about blockchain technology, staying informed about Solana and Rust advancements, and eager to apply innovative techniques to enhance our solutions.
Nice to Have:
Node.js & TypeScript: Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript to support backend development and enhance integration capabilities.
MongoDB: Experience with MongoDB for database management, particularly in handling and storing blockchain data.
AWS Services: Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including services like EC2, S3, and Lambda, for scalable, cloud-based application deployment and management.
